Things to do:

Tour the Bastide towns of Belves, Cadouin (with its Abbey and great local restaurant opposite), Villereal. Sarlat la Canéda is a must as is the pre-historic capital of the world - Les Eyzies. The Château de Biron is also well worth a visit as are the town markets - especially those in Sarlat and Monpazier. Not far away is Rocamadour - rated the second finest village is France, and La Roque Gageac - rated the third finest. |

The hotel has its own fine dining restaurant, plus there are many restaurants/cafes and other options ( eg 3 boulangerie) to select from. The hotel also has a bistro - Bistro 2 -on the edge of the small town. |
